Güstrower precision spreaders are available in volumes of 5 - 16 m3, both single axel and tandem. The spreaders are multi-purpose and of very high-quality. They can be used for many different types of fertiliser and spread precisely under all conditions. Güstrower spreaders with the proven electronically controlled scraper chain are among the most advanced and the most powerful high capacity spreaders in Europe. All Güstrower spreaders work fully hydraulically. The driving speed independent application rate is available as standard on every spreader. High precision spreading devices, ISObus communication and also the fully automatic section control stand for maximum economy day in day out.
Because of the scraper chain, Güstrower precision spreaders can handle all types of fertiliser, e.g. mineral fertilisers, even lumpy goods, lime and wet lime, dry manure, compost etc.
How exact is the dosing of the scraper chain? The feed of the scraper chain is electronically controlled. With no slippage of the sprocket drive on the scraper chain combined with the positive traction of the scraper bars on the product mean that once calibrated the Güstrower spreaders have an application rate accuracy of 1-2% of target rate. The rate is automatically adjusted to suit varying operation speed and the closely spaced scraper chain bars can achieve application rates down to 40 kg/ha. The two disc spreading system with U-spreading unit will spread high quality fertilisers up to 42 m with a double overlap system. Spread patterns are subject to regular independent test hall results including new products as they enter the market. For the latest spreader charts please contact us.
The electronic control goes automatically with the ISObus job computer, this automatically controls the section closing. The Güstrower precision spreaders are extremely suitable for precision farming, spreading with GPS, task cards and the use of a N-Sensor is all possible. The fully automatic section control stands for maximum economy day in day out.
The Güstrower trailed spreaders have a significantly better weight distribution compared to a traditional fertiliser spreader, carried in the hitch. This results in less structural soil degradation.
The spreader also stands on very large tyres, with a diameter up to 2.05 m. This also ensures a large contact surface with the soil, so that the soil pressure is minimal.

In 2020, the Buijs farm bought a Güstrower precision spreader. After the previous spreader literally went up in smoke due to a fire, it was necessary for Buijs to look for a new spreader.
The main reason for purchasing the Güstrower GDK 8000 spreader was that we had moisture problems with our previous spreader. This Güstrower spreader has a metal bottom chain /scraper chain and therefore we overcome that problem. On delivery, two kinds of saucers for fertiliser and one for other products were delivered. This spreader is very suitable for spreading low amounts. That goes very precisely. Therefore, we also work with task cards. So far for the application of lime, but in time we want to do this with potash and fertilizer as well''.
